Overview

Noodles is a lively tune that encourages improvisation using pentatonic and mixolydian scales. It can be taught aurally or by using the lead sheets. First as your students to improvise over Noodles using pentatonic scales and then move on to improvising using mixolydian scales. Listen to the demo track with your students - first you can hear the head (tune) and then two example solos - the first solo uses pentatonic scales and the second solo explores the chord changes.
