Cookies are small files stored on your computer when you visit websites. Cookies help make websites work more efficiently by storing information about your preferences. They also provide information about how you use our website and we use this information to try to improve your browsing experience. Cookies are used by many websites and can do a number of things, eg remembering your preferences, recording what you have put in your shopping basket, and counting the number of people looking at a website.

We may use cookies to remember personal settings you have chosen on our website. Cookies cannot harm your computer and we do not use cookies to collect information that identifies you personally. If you are happy for us to send cookies to your browser to help us improve user experience, you do not need to do anything. However, if you would prefer to opt out of receiving cookies, you will need to change your browser’s privacy settings.

Where cookies are used to collect personal data, we list these purposes in our privacy policy, along with other personal data that we collect. However, we also use some cookies that do not collect personal information but that do help us collect anonymous information about how people use our website. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website usage by means of cookies, which are stored on users' computers. The information collected by Google Analytics about usage of our website is not personally identifiable. The data is collected anonymously, stored by Google and used by us to create reports about website usage. Google's privacy policy is available here.

Management of cookies

If you have decided that you don’t want cookies placed on your device, you can alter your web browser settings so that it alerts you when cookies are sent to it, or you can reject cookies altogether. You can also remove cookies that have already been placed.

However, if you wish to restrict or block web browser cookies which are placed on your computer or mobile device, then you can do this through your browser settings in the Help section, located in your browser menu. Here it will explain clearly what to do.

Most web browsers allow easy management of cookies through browser settings. To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org .
