With tight budgets and limited time, we want to clue you in on what you can do yourself with handy free tools like Canva. With the help of our brilliant guest, Evie Henderson, we are here to help!
Evie will take you through the basics of canva, a system she regularly uses in her role as The Digital Creative Content Creator & Distributor for the manchester jazz festival. She’ll show you how to create assets for both print and the main social media platforms as well as how to unlock the full range of canva’s tools to make easy, quick and most importantly high quality designs.

More about Evie
Evie is the Digital Content Maker & Creator for Manchester's longest running Jazz Festival (mjf), a role she has held for 2 festivals and 3+ years. She learnt her trade in digital marketing working for the award-winning sushi joint ‘Umezushi’ and as the Senior Creative Apprentice for the Warrington based theatre company ‘Not Too Tame.’ She has also been fortunate to undertake a placement with Cully Jazz Festival, Switzerland shadowing their marketing team. Alongside her work for the Jazz Festival, Evie is a freelance marketer including for organisations such as The Jazz Promotion Network. Evie has an eclectic music taste and regularly attends gigs on the MCR scene as well international festivals. And has a creative background in the arts, having graduated from ALRA North with a BA(Hons) in Acting. She also works as a theatre maker and writer alongside her marketing commitments.
